Former Benue State Governor, Gabriel Suswam has urged members of the
public toembrace the spirit of love and forgiveness as they celebrate the Christmas and New year.
Suswam who gave this admonition in a message via his official Facebook page also prayed God to help leaders to toe the path of righteousness, saying only righteousness could prosper and exalt the society. “It is yet another period of the yuletide, a period of winding down and bringing to a close the struggles and experiences of the year 2015.”
“But more profoundly, it is a time to reflect on the significance of our earthly existence as humans, who are created and brought this far by God Almighty who reigns over us all in the majesty and supremacy of His unseen realm.”
“As we make merry and celebrate at this period may we be guided by the grace of our Supreme Creator to imbibe and live in the spirit of love and forgiveness that we may experience peace and progress in our individual endeavours and in the affairs of our collective human community”
