Malia Obama's Miami girls' squad are high school classmates whose fathers include an Obama appointee

Malia Obama was photographed soaking up the sun in

Miami with a group of female friends. It has now been revealed that they are her high school classmates who came together again after being separated by their colleges.
One of the ladies pictured with the former First Daughter is the daughter of an Obama appointee.

Taylor Nides, Jane Lipscomb and Lizzy Mullaney, 21, all joined Malia Obama, 20, in Miami for President's Day weekend.
The women have all been best friends with Malia for years and attended White House events while her father was in office. They were all students at Sidwell Friends, the private high school Malia attended along with Joe Biden's granddaughter, Finnegan. The girls now attend different colleges around the country.
According to Dailymail, Taylor, whose father is the Morgan Stanely executive Thomas R. Nides, now attends Northwestern University in Washington DC.

Her father was the Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources during the Obama administration and worked directly beneath Hillary Clinton. Taylor's mother is Virginia Moseley, the senior VP of news gathering at CNN.
Lizzy Mullaney's father is William F. Mullaney, a senior financial advisor at Merrill Lynch. She studies media projects at Wesleyan University in Connecticut.

Jane Lipscomb is one of Malia's closest friends and was pictured with her at their prom in their final year at Sidwell Friends. Jane's parents are Joseph E. Lipscomb, who runs the finance firm Arborview Capital, and Laura Will, a proud Clinton supporter who runs a landscape design company in Bethesda, Maryland. Jane is enrolled at Baites College, a liberal arts school in Maine.
